Fans aus ganz Europa trafen sich am vergangenen Wochenende anlässlich des Buzz Lightyear Astro Blast Previews - und die ersten Berichte, die bereits im DLP.info Forum eingetroffen sind, sind äußerst positiv! Im allgemeinen genossen die Gäste die Previews (zumindestens in der ersten Tageshälfte waren die Wartezeiten angenehm kurz, da die Previews bis 14.00 Uhr noch exklusiv AP Dream Inhabern und Mitgliedern des Shareholders' Club vorbehalten waren), die ohne größere technische Schwierigkeiten abliefen. Tatsächlich sprinteten zahlreiche Gäste direkt wieder zum Eingang der Attraktion für einen erneuten Versuch, ihren High-Score zu toppen.
Die Pariser Version der Attraktion (die bereits in allen anderen Magic Kingdom Parks rund um den Globus eröffnet hat) schneidet in Vergleichen äußerst positiv ab, nicht zuletzt auf Grund der frei beweglichen Laser-Kanonen und der versteckten Ziele. Selbst der Wartebereich wird positiv bewertet (sieht man von dem nicht überdachten Außenbereich ab), vorallem dank der beeindruckenden Buzz Lightyear Audio-Animatronic-Figur, die das Briefing vor dem Space-Trip ausführt. Fans from all over Europe mingled together the past weekend during the previews of the new Buzz Lightyear Astro Blast attraction - and man, reports as already filed at the DLP.info Forum are extremly positive. In general guests enjoyed the previews (lines were extremly short throughout the first half of each day, when the preview was exclusively reserved for AP Dream holders and members of the Shareholders' Club) which went along without any major technical problems of the ride. In fact, many of the guests immediately raced back to the entrance to re-ride the attraction and improve their score.
The Paris' version of the ride (which already can be found in all other magic kingdom style parks of Disney around the globe) compares positively to its predecessor thanks not in a small part to detachable laser guns in the space vehicles and the use of hidden targets. Even the queue line got rave reviews (as long as the uncovered outside section is ignored), especially for the impressive Buzz Lightyear audio animatronic that delivers the pre-mission briefing.
