The second attraction of the Toon Studios besides Crush's Coaster will be based on another Disney Pixar feature - Cars. Appropriately titled Cars Race Rally here guests will board some cars to join them for a desert race that turns out (in literal sense) to get a bit out of control with the cars spinning over the ground...
Right now Imagineering is busy to get the last preparations done before finalizing the installation on-site. Seen here is one car being prepared in the workshops - but since this little yellow friend (according to the drawings on the pin wall in the back of the photo it is going to be yellow) has a roof it can eb assumed that this car will "only" be placed only for themeing purposes (and as a photo) opt close to the attraction, but is not one of the ride vehicles.
On a side note: word of the Disneyland Resort Paris has now reached the world of Cars as well - at least that is indicated by the new key visual for the promotion of the new attraction. The shot clearly features a large billboard with a photo shot of Sleeping Beauty Castle from Paris ... too bad that the attraction will be located in the Walt Disney Studios and NOT the Disneyland Park.
