Halloween ist vorbei ... Zeit für ein herzhaftes Dinner - jedenfalls wenn es nach dem DLP.info Community Member David G geht, der der Meinung ist, all diese Kürbismänner wären doch ideal für eine Kürbissuppe. Er hat sogar eine Neufassung des Evolutionsverlaufs der Kürbismänner aus dem Frontierland bereitgestellt.
Ein Dinner nur mit Kürbissuppe wäre aber ziemlich eintönig, oder? Also wie sieht es mit der Nachspeise aus? Natürlich gibt es auch hier eine Menge toller Kürbisrezepte, aber schauen wir uns doch besser nach anderer essbarer Halloween-Deko um. Ray Keim, Webmaster von Haunted Dimensions, hätte da genau das richtige... Ein freistehendes, dreidimensionales Modell des Phantom Manor aus Disneyland Paris mit aufwendiger Verzierung in bester Lebkuchenhaus-Tradition - allerdings aus Zucker-Cookie-Teig. Andererseits sieht das schon wieder zu gut aus, um es zu verspeisen.
Für alle die daran gefallen haben, bietet er nicht nur Photos des Modells online, sondern auch einen detaillierten, illustrierten "Making Off"-Bericht samt Templates zum Download für einen Eigenversuch. Damit wäre ja nun schon geklärt, wie nächstes Jahr die Halloween-Deko aus - und was es nach Ende der Halloween-Saison als Deser gibt ;-)

Halloween is over ... time for a hearty meal - at least if you ask DLP.info community member David G, who thinks that all those Pumpkinmen would certainly make a great soup now that they are no longer needed in the Disneyland Park. He even provided a great drawing continuing the information boards provided in Frontierland to explain the evolution of Pumpkinmen.
But a meal consisting only of pumpkin soup certainly would be very one-dimensional - so what about desert? Certainly there are great pumpkin desers out there, but why not look for some other edible Halloween deko? Ray Keim, webmaster of Haunted Dimensions, would have just the right desert then... He has created a gingerbread style, free standing, three dimensional model of the Phantom Manor from Disneyland Paris out of sugar coockie dough with elaborate detailing. But then admittedly this looks too good to be eaten.
Along with photos of the finished edible model Ray also provides a detailed, illustrated "making off" report and templates to recreate the project at home. So now you know what to do for next year's Halloween decoration and After-Halloween-Desert ;-)
