Several cast members have confirmed that the 22nd annual telecast of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade to be aired on ABC (the US-tv-network of The Walt Disney Company) on Sunday, December 25 at 10/9c, will actually include a short glimpse of Disneyland Paris (as reported earlier).
A tv-crew of ABC filmed castmembers singing "We wish you a Merry Christmas" in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle last Friday morning prior to park opening from 8.00 til 9.30 am. The performance also featured the Snowmen, the dancing Toy Soldiers and their leader seated on the rocking hors eon top of the large drum as well as the first float of from the Christmas Parade (usually used for Mickey and his friends, but here used as stage for some of the singers). The playback of the song used included English and French sections. The final footage is supposed to be mixed with performances of the same song taped in the four other Magic Kingdoms around the world.

Eine TV-Crew von ABC filmte am vergangenen Freitag zwischen 8.00 und 9.30 Uhr vor Parköffnung Castmember, die vor dem Schloss "We wish you a Merry Christmas" zum besten gaben. Teil der Darbietung waren auch die Schneemänner, die tanzenden Spielzeugsoldaten und ihr Anführer auf dem Schaukelpferd und der erste Wagen aus der Christmas Parade (der normalerweise für Mickey und Minnie genutzt wird, hier aber als Bühne für einige Sänger diente). Eingesetzt wurde ein Playback des Songs mit Teilen in Englisch und Französisch. In der entgültigen Fassung wird die Szene mit Darbietungen des gleichen Songs in den übrigen 4 Magic Kingdoms zusammengeschnitten werden.
