Die Sommer-Saison hat noch nicht einmal begonnen, da veröffentlicht das Disneyland Resort Paris schon die erste Meldung zum Halloween Festival vom 1. bis 31. Oktober - und da gibt es eine Menge Überraschungen ... die sich hauptsächlich um die Frage "Orange oder Pink" drehen!
Erinnern Sie sich noch an Gruzella, die Hexe, die in den Bögen über der Main Street, U.S.A., stecken blieb und so die Kürbismänner beim Streichen des Parks in Orange in der Zeit einfrohr? Nun, sie ist wieder da! Aber diesesmal ficht sie es mit den Kürbismännern selbst aus. Mit Unterstützung ihrer Freunde, der Pinken Hexen, will sie wieder die Kontrolle über das Halloween Festival zurückgewinnen - und endlich das Orange wieder verbannen.
Die Gäste sind eingeladen sich für eine der beiden Parteien zu entscheiden, denn die Kürbismänner und die Pinken Hexen tragen ihren Wettstreit den ganzen Tag über in der Main Street, U.S.A., die jetzt den Namen "Rue des Frissons" ("Street of Shivers") trägt, und im Halloweenland aus - und dabei brauchen sie jede Hilfe, damit die interaktive Streetmosphere so richtig in Schwung kommt. Um es ihnen zu erleichtern, ihre Freunde zu erkennen, können sich Kinder im riesigen Kürbis vor dem Schloss ihr Gesicht kostenlos in einer der beiden Farben schminken lassen. Allerdings ist danach bei einem Besuch im Frontierland Vorsicht geboten...
Denn die unter Hälfte beherrschen die Kürbismänner, die auch wieder ihren riesigen Stahllift aufgestellt haben, um die Farbe aus den Tiefen des Big Thunder Mountain zu transportieren, während die obere Hälfte rund um das Cowboy Cookout Barbecue die Pinken Hexen kontrollieren. Hier haben sie auch eine eigene Bühne für ein abwechslungsreiches Unterhaltungsprogram mit neuen Bands von Country bis Hip Hop erreicht - außerdem erwartet die jüngsten Gäste auch wieder die beliebte Pinata. Im Mittelpunk steht aber eine Statue von Gruzella. Außerdem verspricht Disney eine ganze besondere Kulisse für Photos mit Hexenkesseln, die die europäischen Staaten symbolisieren.
Am Nachmittag schalten sich dann auch endlich die Disney Bösewichte ein, die die Wonderful World of Disney Parade übernehmen - die Kürbismänner und die Pinken Hexen sind natürlich auch mit ihren eigenen Wagen mit von der Partie...

The summer season has not even started but the Disneyland Resort Paris already issued its first press release for the Halloween season from 1st till 31st of October - and there are many surprises ... all centering around the main question of the season: orange or pink?
Do you still remember Gruzella, the witch that crashed into the arches over the Main Street, U.S.A., which in turn froze the Pumpkin-Men in time while painting the Main Street orange? Well, she is back! But this time she is battling it out with the Pumpkin-Men. With the help of her friends, the pink witches, she wants to get control back over the Halloween Festival and especially get rid of that orange color.
Guests are invited to choose their site in the battle between Pumpkin-Men and the Pink Witches that will take place throughout the day on Main Street, U.S.A., renamed "Rue des Frissons" ("Street of Shivers"), and in Halloweenland as both sides join the interactive streetmosphere. To help them see rigth away who is on their side, children can get their faces painted in one of the two colors for free inside the giant pumpkin found in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. But be careful where you venture in Halloweenland with such a painted face as the lower half of Halloweenland will be controlled by the Pumpkin-Men who will once again set up their giant steel lift to transport the orange color from the depths of Big Thunder Mountain, while the upper part of Halloweenland, around the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue, will be controlled by the Pink Witches which will set up their own stage next to the restaurant for live entertainment. All new music groups covering all styles from country to Hip Hop will entertain guests here - and the popular Pinata certainly will be back for children too, by the way. Centerpiece of the area will be a statue of Gruzella. Also Disney promises a special photo ooportunity featuring a memorable scene with witches' cauldrons representing the European countries.
In the afternoon finally the Disney Villains will join the fun as they take over the Wonderful World of Disney Parade - certainly both the Pumpkin-Men and the Pink Witches will be in the parade with their own floats too...
