Do you remember the old pre-opening concept drawings of the Disneyland Resort Paris? Back then alley lead all the way from the highway straight to the Fantasia Gardens and the Disneyland Hotel. Now finally the last missing segment of this alley has been opened...
Already the pedestrian only "esplanade" leading to the IMAX theater, the NEX arcade and the Disney Village parking structure had prolonged the road leading to the highway, but now a new 
pedestrian alley extends that esplanade all the way into the Fantasia Gardens right to the Disney Legends sculpture. The access to the gardens can be closed with a wrought iron gate and is currently used as an exit only for guests leaving the theme parks. This also means no tents for security checks had to be installed creating a great new picture-postcard-worth view of the Disneyland Hotel.
According signage has been added to the area to include the new walkway which currently attracts many guests at closing time of the Disneyland Park, as on the top of the new segment the huts of the Bavarian Christmas Market can be seen. This should also increase the number of guests visiting the market, by the way.

Damals war eine lange Allee zu sehen, die direkt von der Autobahn direkt bis zu den Fantasia Gardens und dem Disneyland Hotel führte. Nun wurde endlich das letzte fehlende Stück dieser Allee eingerichtet...
Die Fußgängerzone "Esplanade", die zum IMAX Theater, der NEX Arcade und dem Disney Village Parkhaus führte hatte bereits die Straße zur Autobahn verlängert, doch nun können Gäste noch weiter bis direkt in die Fantasia Gardens zur Disney Legens Skulptur schlendern. Allerdings kann der neue Zugang mit einem schmiedeeisernen Tor geschlossen werden und ist zur Zeit nur zur Benutzung als Ausgang freigegeben. Das bedeutet allerdings auch, dass kein Zelt für Sicherheits-Checks errichtet werden musste und sich den Gästen so ein neuer Blick auf das Disneyland Hotel wie auf einer Postkarte eröffnet.
Der neue Weg wurde natürlich bereits entsprechend ausgeschildert und zieht im Moment vor allem Abends die Gäste an, die den Disneyland Park verlassen, sind auf ihm doch die ersten Stände des bayerischen Weihnachtsmarktes auszumachen. Auf diese Weise sollte er auch helfen, die Besucherzahlen des Marktes zu steigern.
Pirates of the Caribbean ist ein echter Disney Klassiker, der daher auch weltweit in den Disney Themenparks zu finden ist - wobei keine Ausgabe eine Kopie der übrigen ist, sondern alle mehr oder weniger kleine Verbesserungen und Veränderungen aufweisen.
