The French website ZATAZ reports that for the last three years the official website of the Disneyland Resort Paris ( http://www.disneylandparis.com) has been working with inadequate data protection measures. The result: sensitive data as names, e-mail-addresses, mail-addresses or telephone numbers of thousands of French guests who used the website have been accessible, thus endangering the guests as their data in theory could be used by outside persons e.g. to send spam-mails but also to falsify records with the data.
According to ZATAZ neither the French authorities in charge of data protection, Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), nor Euro Disney S.A.S. which were both informed by ZATAZ about the security breach have reacted. Therefore ZATAZ has published a list with the nicknames of guests whose data has been unprotected due to the security breach. Based on the report and the list (which only contains nicknames) it seems only guests of the French version of the site have had their data exposed. In the meantime the union CFDT at the resort has announced that it will follow up the report and request the company to react.
We recommend that all guests who think their data might be compromised check the list as published by ZATAZ to see whether the pseudonym they used is included.

Die französische Webseite ZATAZ meldet, dass die offizielle Webseite des Disneyland Resort Paris ( http://www.disneylandparis.com) in den letzten drei Jahren mit unzureichenden Datenschutzmaßnahmen betrieben wurden. Das Ergebnis: die Daten tausender französischer Gäste, die die Seite benutzten, wie Namen, e-mail-Adressen, Post-Adressen und Telephon-Nummern konnten von Dritten ausgelesen werden und theoretisch in Folge z.B. für die Versendung von Spam-mails oder zur Fälschung anderer Unterlagen verwendet werden.
Laut ZATAZ hat weder die zuständige französische Behörde, Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), noch Euro Disney S.A.S., die beide informiert worden seien, reagiert. Daher hat ZATAZ nun eine Liste mit den Pseudonymen der Gäste veröffentlicht, deren Daten von der Sicherheitslücke betroffen waren. Ausgehend von der Liste (die nur die Pseudonyme enthält) scheint es so, als seien tatsächlich nur die Gäste der französischen Version der Seite betroffen. In der Zwischenzeit hat die Gewerkschaft CFDT im Resort angekündigt, die Sache weiterzuverfolgen und eine Stellungnahme der Gruppe anzufordern.
Wir empfehlen allen Gästen, die denken, eventuell könnten Ihre Daten betroffen sein, die von ZATAZ veröffentlichte Liste auf das von ihnen verwendete Pseudonym hin zu überprüfen.
