As already reported the rehab of Disney's Newport Bay Club has grown to a, for guests, unexpected scope with closures, among others, of both restaurants (the Yacht Club till August 30, the Cape Cod till August 12). In the meantime it has been confirmed that not only breakfast but also dinner is offered in the adjacent Conference Center which is directly connected to Disney's Newport Bay Club.
In the meantime guests are already treated to the first successfuly finished elements of the rehab, as newly repainted balconies greet them on the garden side of the hotel, unfortunately the next thing guests see inside the building are construction fences closing of parts of the lobby and the concierge desk.

Wie bereits berichtet wurde die Renovierung von Disney's Newport Bay Club, zumindestens für Gäste überraschend, ausgeweitet. Von den Schließungen sind unter anderem auch die beiden Restaurants (der Yacht Club bis 30. August, das Cape Cod bis 12. August) betroffen. Zwischenzeitlich wurde bestätigt, dass daher nicht nur das Frühstück sondern auch Möglichkeiten zum Dinner im Kongress Zentrum des Hotels angeboten werden.
Bereits jetzt können Gäste bei der Anreise einen ersten erfolgreich abgeschlossenen Teil der Renovierungen bewundern: die neu gestrichenen Balkone auf der Gartenseite des Gebäudes. Leider begrüßen sie im Inneren dann sofort die Bauzäune, die Teile der Lobby und den Concierege Desk abteilen.
