In its drive to offer all guests an experience as complete as possible a new boarding policy is tested at Phantom Manor currently. So far guests with disabilities visiting the Phantom Manor were allowed to whiz by the regular queue line as they used the exit as entrance and boarded their Doom Buggies there. But avoiding the line came with a big disadvantage: these guests missed the gallery (aka the stretching room) and the hallway leading up to the boarding area, which set the atmosphere for the attraction and are integrated elements of the story telling.
During a test phase scheduled to last till July 30th disabled guests are invited to enter the attraction via the regular queue line and finally experience the gallery too. In the Walt Disney Studios next door all attraction queue lines had been designed from day one to accomodate e.g. wheel chair users too and such avoid the need for any special boarding set-ups through the exits.

Im Rahmen der Bemühungen, allen Gästen das gleiche, vollständige Erlebnis zu bieten, wird im Phantom Manor zur Zeit eine neue Regelung für das Boarding der Attraktion getestet. Bisher betraten Gäste mit Behinderungen die Attraktion durch den Ausgang und bestiegen dort ihren Doom Buggy. Dadurch wurde jedoch nicht nur die Warteschlange umgangen - vielmehr verpassten die Gäste auch den Besuch der Gallerie (alias dem Stretching Room) und der anschließenden Gemäldehalle, die auf die folgende Attraktion einstimmen und Teil der Geschichte sind, die erzählt wird.
Während der bis 30. Juli vorgesehenen Testphase sind Gäste mit Behinderungen nun eingeladen, die Attraktion über den normalen Wartebereich zu betreten, so dass sie endlich auch die Gallerie erleben können. In den benachbarten Walt Disney Studios waren die Wartebereich bereits vor Eröffnung so angelegt worden, dass sie z.B. auch von Gästen mit Rollstühlen benutzt werden können, so dass kein Bedarf für zusätzliche Zugangsregelungen bestand.
