Als Walt Disney Disneyland erschuf wollte er die Möglichkeit haben seine Geschichten dreidimensional erzählen zu können. Er konnte die Sets für diese Geschichten bauen - doch ein gewisses Element fehlte noch: die Figuren.
Adventureland ist das zu Hause von Sandstränden, tropischen Inselnd und versteckten Schätzen - also die perfekte Umgebung für jeden Piraten...
Bauzäune im Disneyland Resort Paris sind in Blau und Grün erhältlich - Gäste, die in diesen Tagen das Resort besuchen, können das gar nicht übersehen, treten sie doch bereits massiv auf dem Vorplatz der beiden Parks auf und leiten Gäste, die die Walt Disney Studios besuchen wollen, nun durch den Eingang der Fantasia Gardens. Diese Arbeiten sind Teil eines langfristigen Projektes, der die Besucherströme zwischen den Parks, dem Disney Village und dem Bahnhof vollständig neu gestalten soll. Würden alle Pläne verwirklicht, bedeutete dies auch einen neuen Eingang zum Disney Village ausgerichtet an der zukünftigen zweite Hauptstraße des Village. Vor den Zäunen wurden in der Zwischenzeit neue Hinweisschilder aufgestellt, die jetzt prominent das Disney "D" tragen, als sichtbaren Disney-Touch. Noch sind jedoch nicht alle Schilder ausgetauscht.
Jetzt stellt sich allerdings die Frage, wo die versprochenen blauen Bauzäune sind, denn hier sind sie alle noch grün. Aber keine Sorge, bei einem Besuch im Disneyland Park ist die blaue Version nicht zu übersehen. Sie blockiert den größten Teil des Zuganges von der Central Plaza in das Discoveryland, sowie einen nochmals ausgedehnten Bereich zwischen Videopolis, Orbitron und der zukünftigen Buzz Lightyear Attraktion. Hinter den Zäunen wird der Bodenbelag neugestaltet - laut neuesten Berichten im DLP.info-Forum wird hier ein Bodenmosaik eingesetzt... Damit die Gäste in der Zwischenzeit aber nicht glauben, Discoveryland sei geschlossen, wurden entsprechende Hinweisschilder an den Bauzäunen angebracht.
Ein kleiner, wiederum grüner Bauzaun ist schließlich noch in Frontierland zu finden, wo er den Eingang zu den Toiletten neben dem Restaurant Fuento del Oro abschließt. Allerdings gibt es auch noch ein großes Renovierungsprojekt, das ganz ohne Bauzaun auskommt: der zweite Abschnitt der Umgestaltung des Emporium von den warmen, braunen Farben auf das helle Design. Nunmehr wurde die obere Hälfte des Emporiums, an der Fassade als Bixby Brothers und Toy Chest ausgewiesen, für die entsprechenden Arbeiten geschlossen.
Construction fences at the Disneyland Resort Paris come in blue and green - guests visiting these days can't miss that fact, as a first massive show of construction fences closes off the central plaza between the parks, chanelling guests heading for the Walt Disney Studios toward the gates of Fantasia Gardens. This is part of a major project to change the look and feel of the area between the parks and the railroad station which eventually should lead to new guest flow including, if all plans would be realized, a new entrance into the Disney Village as well in anticipation of the not yet build second main road of the Village. 
Just outside these fences new signs have been spotted. Their new design prominently features the Disney "D" adding a true Disney touch. But so far not all signs have been replaced.
But all of these construction fences are green! So where is the second color?? No need to worry, just head into the Disneyland Park - they can't be missed. Blue construction fences are now closing off most of the entrance way to Discoveryland from Central Plaza and are also blocking of an extended area between Videopolis, Orbitron and the future Buzz Lightyear ride. Behind the construction fence the ground is undergoing some major work. According to the latest reports on the DLP.info-Forum a new ground mosaic is added... To help the guest flow and make sure guests realize Discoveryland is NOT closed signs have been added to the fences indicating access to the attractions of Discoveryland.
Finally a small (this time green again) construction fence went up in Frontierland, closing off the toilets next to Fuento del Oro. But there is also a major rehab that started without any visible fences: the second leg of the interior rehab of the Emporium. Now the upper half of the shop, on the facade indicated as Bixby Brothers and Toy Chest, has been closed to transfer it from the dark, warm colors to the brighter, white.
When Walt Disney created Disneyland he wanted to have the opportunity to tell his stories in three dimensions. He was able to build the sets for his stories - but a certain element was missing: characters.
