The not so short lived scaffolding for the lower section of the Emporium block of the Main Street, U.S.A., received yet another level of plussing. After the painted replica of the facade was added last week, now some cutouts of Mickey and friends parading along to the drum beat of Goofy nad the trumpet play of Donald have been added to the actual construction fence.
Further down our short walk around the park we see another change right at the top of the Main Street: a new "tip board" indicating waiting times at the most popular attractions as well as show and parade times has been installed. While in the past CMs at the board had to manually place little signs indicating current wait times, now little screens are used to display the waiting times. 
This "upgrade" is supposed to be part of the overall improvement of the queue line management. Original concepts had the ultimate goal of automatic transmission of waiting time data from all major queue-lines automatically adjusted by calculations based on guests passing through the new turnstiles, as already installed at Space Mountain Mission 2. This would also explain, why not only a new clock has shown up at the FastPass-entrance of Big Thunder Mountain, but also new turnstiles.
What else is new this week? Well the pain job move ahead nicely, new blooming spring plants are showing up all over the park and the resort - and finally the Discoveryland sign has returned to the entrance of the Discoveryland. Afterall this part of the park must look its finest for the upcoming opening of Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
